Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of makecvr.com (the "Service"), operated by Le Quang Nhu, an individual based in Vietnam ("we", "us"). By using the Service or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

makecvr.com is a public leaderboard of websites and X (Twitter) profiles. Listings are ranked only by the total amount paid for them. A payment buys a position on the leaderboard based on that total — it does not buy a fixed rank, a fixed period at any rank, or any amount of traffic, clicks, or sales. Other users can outrank you at any time by paying more. How the boards work is described on the Rules page, which forms part of these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to make a purchase. If you buy on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it to these Terms.

3. Payments

• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
• You choose the amount, in whole US dollars, within the limits shown on the Pricing page. Every payment is a one-time charge — there are no subscriptions.
• A listing is published only after the payment is confirmed.
• Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

4. Your listing

• You may only submit a website or X handle that you own or are authorized to promote.
• Not allowed: adult or sexual content, illegal products or services, malware or phishing, scams, hate speech, content that infringes anyone's rights, chat or invite links, and link shorteners.
• The amount paid for each listing, its rank, and its click count are shown publicly.
• We may change a listing's category, or remove a listing that breaks these Terms or the Rules. If we remove a listing that does not break them, we will refund the amounts paid for it.
• You grant us permission to display your listing's URL or handle, title, description, and favicon on the Service and in links shared from it.

5. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the Service, manipulate click counts or visitor statistics, scrape it in a way that affects its performance, or access it by automated means to get around its limits.

6. Intellectual property

The Service's design, code, and branding belong to us. The content of each listing belongs to its owner.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, any particular rank, or any outcome from being listed. Listed websites are operated by third parties — we don't endorse them and aren't responsible for their content.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. We may change or discontinue the Service. If we shut it down, we will refund payments made in the 14 days before the shutdown.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
